Adobe has patched its Creative Cloud apps after people noticed the software was deleting Mac users’ files without warning. After customers updated Creative Cloud, it accessed their hard drive and deleted the first folder that appeared in alphabetical order. A VOIP software bug can enable scammers to eavesdrop on phone conversations and make high-cost calls on other people’s lines, security experts have shown. The problem affects voice-over-internet-protocol (Voip) phones, commonly used by businesses. Just by running a couple of lines of code on a website visited by the phone user, the researchers demonstrated how premium-rate calls could be made. BT apologises for broadband problem

BT said it was still investigating the cause of the incident

BT has apologised after “many” users in the UK experienced problems recently connecting to the internet, but says the issue has now been resolved.
